十,        Shi . [ read : se ]  ten .

百,        Bai . [ Read : pai ] HUNDREDS

千,       Qian [ Read : chien ] THOUSANDS

万,[萬]  Wan . TEN THOUSAND

十万     Shi – wan . [ Read : se – wan ] HUNDRED thousand

百万     Bai – wan [ read : pai – wan ] Million .

千万     Qian wan [ read : chien – wan ] Ten million

亿 [億]   Yi . [Read yi ] Hundred million

Example 1 :

十一  shi – yi .      11

十二  shi – er.       12

十五  shi – wu .    15

7.6856.7000   七亿  六千八百五十六万  七千. Qi-yi  liu-qian ba-bai wu-shi-liu wan qi-qian

Note : The above number of readings should be read as han-yi-pin-ying which written at its right side .

please note which words must be connect and which words dosn’t. for example:

— Do not read: liu qian qi–ba ….. ( liu-qian must read as a part like you say six thousand, not say six, thousand seven.. like machine voice)

—- Read The unit must be followed by a number, the next new unit. Example, qi and yi should be continued. There should not be separated. Although the sentence is ultimately connected them all, but the little pieces make a difference.

—- Unit number should be one part of the unit. Examples of wu–shi–liu wan, liu [6] is a unit number, wan is a unit. So 56 should not be separated. Do not read wu–shi [50], then follow by liu wan [60,000], is going to sound weird.
